About eBehavior: History
Accentuating the positive....
eBehavior CMS is rooted in the natural curiosity and passion of teachers.
eBehavior began as a local initiative at a single California high school when 6 of the high school’s teachers returned from a research trip to Birmingham, England on a Fulbright Grant. During the trip, they encountered a school that had created an extremely effective learning environment by encouraging teachers to aggressively recognize good behavior and to identify only the most disruptive activities and discipline those actions consistently.
Upon their return, the teachers discussed their findings with peers, administrators, and community members. The philosophy described was perfect for an electronic application given the philosophy’s approach to a systematic discipline policy.
eBehavior was developed to help this forward thinking California high school quickly and reliably implement this new “brand” of discipline several months later at the beginning of the new school year.
eBehavior’s capabilities have grown, though it has not strayed beyond the focus of creating a positive and effective learning environment.
